1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of Man with a Van Rubbish Removal services, operated by EKP11 Waste Management (Waste Carrier Licence: CBDU527134).

By requesting a quote or booking our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

We provide rubbish removal and waste collection services including:

• Sofa and furniture removal
• Mattress disposal
• Appliance collection (fridges, washing machines, etc.)
• Garden waste clearance
• Garage and house clearances
• Commercial rubbish removal

All services are subject to availability and our acceptance of your booking.

3. Quotes and Pricing

• Instant Quotes: Online price estimates are indicative and based on the information you provide
• Final Price: The final price may vary if the actual load differs from your description or photos
• Price Confirmation: Prices are confirmed before collection begins
• Additional Charges: May apply for difficult access, additional items, or hazardous materials
• Payment: Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed

4. Booking and Cancellation

Booking Confirmation:

• Bookings are confirmed via email or phone
• We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion

Cancellations by Customer:

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled collection
• Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a £25 cancellation fee
• No-shows will be charged the full quoted price

Cancellations by Us:

• We may cancel due to weather, vehicle breakdown, or other unforeseen circumstances
• We will offer an alternative date or full refund

5. Customer Responsibilities

You must:

• Provide accurate information about items for collection
• Ensure items are accessible and ready for collection
• Inform us of any access restrictions (narrow stairs, parking, etc.)
• Ensure you have the right to dispose of the items
• Not include hazardous materials (asbestos, chemicals, medical waste, etc.)
• Be present or arrange access at the scheduled time

6. Prohibited Items

We cannot accept:

• Asbestos or materials containing asbestos
• Hazardous chemicals or toxic substances
• Medical or clinical waste
• Radioactive materials
• Live ammunition or explosives
• Items requiring specialist disposal licenses

If prohibited items are discovered, we reserve the right to refuse collection and charge a call-out fee.

7. Waste Disposal

As a licensed waste carrier (CBDU527134), we are committed to responsible waste disposal:

• We recycle and reuse items wherever possible
• All waste is disposed of at licensed facilities
• We provide waste transfer notes upon request
• We comply with all environmental regulations

8. Liability and Insurance

Our Liability:

• We carry public liability insurance
• We take reasonable care when removing items
• We are not liable for pre-existing damage to property or items
• Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided

Your Liability:

• You are responsible for ensuring items are yours to dispose of
• You are liable for any fines resulting from incorrect information provided

9. Access and Property Damage

• You must inform us of any access difficulties before booking
• We are not responsible for damage caused by items being too large for access routes
• Additional charges may apply for difficult access situations
• We will take reasonable care to avoid damage to your property

10. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of service
• We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments
• Invoices are provided upon request
• Late payment may incur interest charges

11. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

13. Force Majeure
